These terms cover the software that runs this site. They are separate from our Terms of Service, which cover the detailing work itself.
The DetailOS platform, including all software, source code, designs, page layouts, text, workflows and databases that make it up (the “Platform”), is owned by DetailOS (legal entity to be formed) (“DetailOS”) and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights reserved.
The operator of this site is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform to run their own business. No ownership of the Platform transfers with that licence.
You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, crawl, harvest, mirror, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, resell, sublicense, redistribute, or create derivative or competing products from the Platform or any part of it, whether by hand or by automated means. You may not use the Platform, or anything derived from it, to build a product that competes with DetailOS.
These terms cover the Platform, not the operator’s business data. Customer records, bookings, photos and other information entered by the operator remain the operator’s. How customer information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
