A coating is only as good as the prep under it. Here's exactly what we do on the day, package by package, and what the warranty covers.

The packages

Every package starts with a base detail and paint decontamination. Prices are by vehicle size; the exact number for yours is on the coatings page.

Right now: Free exterior detail with your ceramic coating. The exterior base detail is on us with any coating booked online. One per vehicle.

On the day

A coating takes two of our time windows. You don't need to be home after we've said hello; we text photos at the end.

  1. Base detailExterior (foam wash, wheels and tires, glass, jambs) or the full detail with the interior done too. Everything else is done on clean paint.
  2. Paint decontaminationIron remover to dissolve bonded brake dust, then a clay bar on every panel. This is what makes paint feel like glass.
  3. Paint correctionTrim taped, a test spot under the light, then machine polishing panel by panel. 1-step is a single polish for swirls and gloss; 2-step adds a compounding pass for deeper defects first.
  4. Ceramic coatingPanel prep wipe, then the coating applied in sections and levelled inside its flash window. Every panel checked under the light for high spots.
  5. Cure and hand-overWe walk the car with you under the light, photograph every panel for your warranty record, and explain the cure window (no washing or heavy rain contact for the product's cure period).

The warranty

Each ceramic grade carries a written warranty for its term, issued when the job is finished and kept in your customer portal with the photos from the day.

What does it cover?

The coating's water beading, gloss and protection over the warranty term when the car is maintained as we explain at hand-over. If the coating fails within the term, we re-prep and re-coat the affected area.

What isn't covered?

Rock chips, scratches from contact, automatic car washes with brushes, and damage from neglect or harsh chemicals. A coating makes paint easier to keep clean; it isn't armour.

Do I need to do anything?

Hand wash or touchless wash only, and keep it to pH-neutral soap. We'll text you before your maintenance check so the coating stays in warranty.

Which correction do I need?

Pick 1-step unless you know your paint has deep scratches or oxidation. We check the paint when we arrive and confirm with you before starting; if it needs more, we show you why and adjust the price together before any work.

When am I charged?

After the job, once you've seen the photos. Card on file or at the end, whichever's easier. Booking costs nothing.
